Benefits

The establishment of government as a single customer has created an economy of scale and an ability to negotiate considerable benefits including:

  • discounted rates on all products and cloud services
  • ability to transfer licences between agencies and authorised parties
  • ability to reinvest legacy on-premise licensing in cloud services
  • access to a subscription based catalogue, which is unique to NZ Government customers.

Adopting the service

Eligible agencies can adopt the HP Software Framework Agreement by co-signing with HP an affiliate sign up form available from the lead agency, DIA.

Eligible agencies are defined by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s white list and includes those under the Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO) mandate.
