In July 2014, the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) launched the new website – www.govt.nz – which replaces the newzealand.govt.nz website after a year of beta testing.

New Zealanders need to have trust and confidence that the government takes all aspects of privacy and security seriously. This work programme has a focus on enabling ongoing continual improvement of privacy and security across the State services.
Telecommunications as a Service (TaaS) programme aims to deliver a range of cross-government telecommunications and managed security services sourced from a competitive innovative market which are simple for government agencies to use and assist agencies to provide better public services.
