Introduction

Creating a marketing and public awareness campaign can be seen as an extension of the communications and change management plans of previous phases to include more external promotional activities.

Aim

The aim of this stage is to:

  • work with the lead agency’s communications team to create a marketing and public awareness campaign, following their usual processes.

Actions

With the lead agency’s communications team:

  1. Identify the marketing and promotional activities that will maximise impact with the target audience (for example, press releases, advertising campaigns, content-based marketing, search engine optimisation, roadshows).
  2. Coordinate with other agencies’ communications campaigns.

Outputs

The outputs from this stage include:

  • marketing and public awareness campaigns to grow the customer base.
