Ministerial Committee on Government ICT

Role

• Set the strategic direction for Government ICT
• Set ICT investment priorities
• Gain early oversight and understanding of ICT investment plans.

As an expert sub-committee of Cabinet, ministers will provide Cabinet with informed advice on ICT innovation and expenditure across government.

Members

• Minister of Finance (Chair)
• Minister of Communications and Information Technology
• Minister of State Services and Minister of Health
• Minister of Education
• Minister of Internal Affairs
• Minister of Immigration.

Meetings are held bi-monthly and include these senior government officials;

• The Government CIO
• ICT Strategy Group members
• Director of the Office of the GCIO.
